As elegant and refined as a fine Champagne. Étienne has been created by a true master of his craft. Time-served experience can be tasted in every mouthful. Fresh gooseberry, bergamot and ginger on the nose with a crisp finish. As dry as a Brut Champagne with a fuller body from the pale malt base. Extremely refreshing and very different

Cask @ ORB, Darlington. Golden with a creamy head. It's between hoppy, and sour and bitter in taste, with its grape-like notes providing some fruitiness. Tastes like there's some ginger involved too!

Cask at ORB, Darlington. Yellow gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and zesty lemon citrus aroma. Taste is grainy, wheaty, grapey with fruity, herby, yeasty notes and some lemon citric bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. OK
