Bottle recieved with Euro Swap 2-2022 many thanks to Koelschtrinker! The beer has got a dark brown color with a full brown head. The aroma is full malty and a bit sweet. The taste is malty, sweet and rye-ish.

Bottle 750ml. at [ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting ] @ Deanso’s place (former ABC Beers), Korte Koediefstraat 5 Den Haag, Netherlands 2511CE. [ As hops & malt Black Fury ].Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, bread, dark malt, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, bread, dark malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160922] 7-3-7-3-14

0,1l from tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien shared with a friend. black color, small coffee-colored head. smells of coffee, licorice, light sherry notes, spices. decent smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of licorice, sherry notes, some dried fruits, lightly herbal, bit medical. finishes ligthly bitter with notes of sherry, licorice and some dried fruits. decent but also expected a bit more, not much hops on this one.

Brown body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of chocolate, some coffee, cocoa, citrus, grass, some pine, some dark berries.
Tastes of coffee, cocoa, bitter chocolate, some liquorice, hops more in the background, with citrus, grass, flowers.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty-bitter, with coffee, cocoa powder, liquorice, sone zesty notes, some grass.
Nice one. Really aromatic, with lots of dark roasty notes and the hops more in the background, especially in the taste. Not among my favourite BIPAs in Austria, but characterful stuff.

Thank you SinH4. 650 ml. bottle sampled @ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Black, mocha head. Nose is cold umami, bland low roast, empty & dull with some sugar. Taste is empty plastic, herbal, molasses, herbal, fizzy, burned plastic & some sugar. Not successful.

Bottle shared @ Borefts Pre-tasting. Hazy brown color, small to average sized beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, brown sugar. Taste malts, brown sugar, caramel, lightly (Dutch) "hopjesvla". Don’t like it.

Bottle. Dark brown color with tan head. Aroma is brown malts, chocolate, some earthy hops. Taste is more brown malts and sweetish grassy hops. Medium carbonation. It’s quite nice, but I don’t really get the IPA bit. 7-4-7-3-13 Tap, new batch. More black chocolate, a bit buttery in the aroma. Silky mouthfeel. Better!
