Thin beige head left a spotty cover on a copper coloured still body. Sweet berry aroma. Medium bodied, smooth in the tongue with a sharp tingly back. Caramel, berries, sweet, spices & malt tastes with a long tangy finish. Excellent Lockdown Patio beer.

28/2/2019. From cask at the 2019 Liverpool Beer Festival, courtesy of Danlo, cheers Ed! Pours golden with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, caramel, grass, light grapefruit, biscuit and touch of pine. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Pleasant lasting bitterness to finish. Pretty decent.

500ml bottle from the In Beer shop, Southport. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of faint orange, herbal hops. Taste is at the grassy end though, quite astringent. Prickly carbonation. Finishes a bit chewy.

Cask, one-third pint at Ship and Mitre. Clear amber coloured body with a bubbly ring to the rim of the surface. Pale malty and fruit hoppy aroma, slightly perfumed. Flavours of leafy hops with a citric touch. Fair and smooth bitter round off. More or less on par with the style (Liverpool 31.01.2015).
