Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a pitch black with a tan bubbly head. Aroma is roasted malts, fruity, boozy. Taste is boozy, dark fruit, chocolate, roasted malts.

24/12/2020. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours black with a frothy deep tan coloured head. Aroma is whisky, wood, vanilla, roasted, chocolate, toffee, treacle. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Medium to full body, sticky texture, average to soft carbonation. Warming boozy finish. Super stuff.

330ml bottle from Centrale, Newcastle. Pours black in colour with a brown foam head leaving some lacing. Nose of chocolate malt, whisky barrel, milk, roasted, coffee. Flavour is whisky, woody oak, roasty, sweet malty, dark chocolate & coffee, with boozy tangy earthy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, full bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasted bitter boozy finish. Very drinkable.
