Keg @ Hop and Scotch, Kings Heath before watching Part Chimp at Hare & Hounds. Deep dark pour, hazed with a good beige head. Insane toffee aroma. Could be a fuller body, but plenty of toffee coming through to taste.

Tap at the Hive Crowthorne, 30th April 2022. Pours a black slightly watery one. Aroma is chocolate and toffee, yes honeycomb, taste follows, good

Keg draught at Tønne, Leicester. At 4%. Very dark brown, black really, with a loose tan head with generous lacing. The burnt honeycomb overpowers everything else on the nose. That's fine, it's lovely and I can smell it while the glass is still on the table. Nice. Tastes sweet at first with a hoppy bitter/sourness that derails it a bit. Not getting any of the flavours the the aroma promised. It finishes quite bitter with a light body and medium to heavy carbonation. I really wanted more substance although if truth be told its still decent.

440ml can. Poured a clear, almost black colour with a lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a rich, roasty, liqourice, light dry coffee palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. The aroma promised so much but things went rapidly downhill after that.

440ml can. Almost black with a small tan head. Aroma of Crunchie bars - the chocolate and honeycomb is spot on. Taste is sweet, chocolate, honeycomb, toffee, mild roast. Light bodied, smooth. Excellent recreation of Crunchie.

Keg at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Sweet, enticing aromas of Crunchie bar, toffee, butterscotch. Taste is a full on honeycomb/ chocolate combo, ably assited by their good friends toffee & caramel. Long sweet finish. Very good.
