Flaska från No Science webshop. Gott

2/IV/21 - 33cl bottle from a trade, shared @ home, BB: 31/XII/19 (2021-244) Thanks to Bierridder_S for the trade! Part of a lost bottle box I recently discovered…

Clear blond yellow beer, small creamy white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very clean, lots of oranges, orange peel, soft wheat acidity. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: orange peel, slightly sourish, bit sweet, banana and banana peel, gentle bitterness, nice stuff! Aftertaste: bit oxidized, lots of orange peel, pretty bitter finish. Very decent witbier, despite the age!

Sampled between ratebeer and brewver. Didn't take specific notes. I didn't enjoy this one all to much.

H2O’s witbier or ‘blanche’, thanks to Steve for sharing at BXL Beerfest. Snow white, mousy, somewhat loose and opening head, hazy pale straw blonde robe with greenish tinge. Aroma of ripe banana, coriander seed, green apples, minerals, white bread dough, soap. Fruity onset but restrained in sweetness, banana peel, green apple, green kiwi, crisp minerally carbonation, somewhat thin mouthfeel; soapy wheatiness in a thin way leading to a coriandered finish with a dash of dried lime peel refreshment, but more dominated by lingering banana and wheaty-soapy aspects. On the thin side even for a witbier, but technically decent enough and I can imagine enjoying this one cold on a hot summer day.
