Op een terras in Funchal, los primos. Uit een flesje. Helder goud, veel wit schuim. Goede licht zoete toets erin.

Re-rating (previous 4.6). Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 4A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L03/19 (BBF 02/2021). AROMA: medium malt aroma with a slight honey character. no hops detected. faint DMS background. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. medium-low white head, moussy, with good retention. TASTE: initial medium-low malty sweet with a honey-like character. medium bitterness with a semi-dry and slightly bitter finish. slight under-attenuation impression PALATE: medium to medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an ok munich helles that would benefit from a slightly higher hop presence.

Bottle shared. Cloudy amber with a cream head. Aroma is bretty upfront, clearly and infected bottle. Some real manure and barnyard going on here overwhelming what the beer should be. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation. It’s not that bad, I don’t mind a bit of Brett. [03-09-2016]
