@home poured into a shaker. Hazy pale golden colour, tall white frothy head, good retention, fair lacing. Light aroma, pilsner malt, grain, grapefruit, herbal notes, light pine resin. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grapefruit, citrus peel, resinous notes. Light to medium body, oily, soft carbonation, dry malty bittersweet aftertaste, light lemon notes, not a full-blown IPA, has some Belgian influences, nice.

(Draught at Moeder Lambic Original, Brussels, 18 Oct 2019) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of tropical fruit, grainy malt and resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with tropical fruit, pineapple, resin, pine needles, grain and a balanced citric/tropical bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made IPA. Nice one.

IPA by this 'nouvelle vague' brewery in Brussels, tasted from tap at GIST, thanks Goedele for sharing! Snow white, cobweb-lacing, mousy, thick and frothy head on a hazy 'old gold' coloured beer. Aroma of old lemon zest, bread crust, banana peel, moist white pepper, camomile, white bread slices, yellow grapefruit. Restrainedly sweetish onset, unripe banana, pineapple, sharp and fizzy carbonation adding lots and lots of minerally effects yet acceptable for what it is; pleasantly bread crumb-like maltiness, cereally, Pilsener-like, but soon bittered by a spicy, grapefruit peel-like hoppiness, bit quinine-like in the end but subduedly fruity as well, tad powdery and working well with the bread crumb-like malt profile. Very quenching, easygoing but modern beer, but in terms of style, more like an old school Belgian bitter blonde than a true IPA in the contemporary sense of the word.
