A multidimensional beer brewed with Tim Anderson (headchef of Nanban and Masterchef) and feautures miso, walnuts, chokeberries and Sake yeast. Tastes of chocolate and toast are mixed with earthy flavours. Umami and savoury qualities build and are balanced by the tartness of juicy chokeberries. Tropical Mosaic hops boosts those fruitier notes whilst Sake yeast gives a subtle botanical edge and dry finish.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Dark brown body with a thin off-white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of nuts, ash and coffee. Flavour of flat Coca-Cola, rubber and tonic water. Thin to medium with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A strange but enjoyable beer - I found it to be like a blend of Mild and Porter.

Another strong Nanban collab--incredibly complex--smooth viscous, umami punch with chokeberries on top & sake yeast for a sharp finish

Keg at the Harp. It pours black with a medium light tan. The aroma is lots of umami, rich roasted malts, toasted nut, cacao, spicy, liquorice, dark fruit, fruit cake and jam. The is rich roast malts, ashy charred wood, umami, spicy, walnut, liquorice, peppery spice, touch of burnt plastic, earth, berry skin, juniper and jammy fruits with lingering umami-laden finale. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Proper bonkers stuff. Interesting and fun, but could be more drinkable.
