27/IX/19 - on tap @ Borefts Day 1, BB: n/a - (2019-1554) Thanks to the international RateBeer Crew for sharing today's beers!
Clear orange blond beer, big aery irregular white head, stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, cow fodder, horse stable, barn yard, little fruity, nice! MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit sour, fruity, pears, soft bitterness, herbal, malty. Aftertaste: bit funky, herbs, thyme, weird, bitter, good but a little weird though.

Borefts XI Day 1. Keg. Light haze on this yellowish gold beer, small white head. Palate light and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Slightly spicy floralness with decent floral fruits. Little bitterness on the finish. Less herby than yer average saison. No bad thing.

Draught @ BBB. Pours very hazy pale orange with a huge frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is fruity and tiny phenolic with crackers, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, gooseberries, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns, white grapes and star fruit. Taste is bitter, fruity and tiny phenolic with crackers, grapefruit juice, pineapple, passion fruit, gooseberries, star fruit, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns, grass, lemon zest and grape skins. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry and light bodied. Finish is slightly bitter, fruity and slightly phenolic with crackers, passion fruit, grape skins, grass, dry soil, white pepper corns, white grapes and hints dill. Very hoppy modern saison. Alcohol 100% hidden. Dangerous and one of the best Swedish interpretations of the style so far. --- Beer merged from original tick of New World Saison on 02 Aug 2014 at 21:21 - Score: 8
