From tap at Borefts 2019. Some lovely coconut in the aroma, with roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, and more coconut. Medium sweet with a roasty bitterness. Medium to full body. Great coconut chocolate treat.

Bottle. Dark brown body under a fine beige head. Aroma of dark malt, dry fruit, coconuts, chocolate, coffee and some vinous alcohol. Taste has the same ingrediencies as found in aroma and it’s made with a delicate balance. There is quite much coconut here, and too much of that normally results in a sticky sweet and unbalanced beer, but not in this case. It’s a really fine balance with quite a complex taste, even on the pasty side of stout. Feels more natural and surer a nice desert bee Feels more natural and for sure a nice dessert beer r. Fine body and long-lasting aftertaste.

Drukket på Bergstua. Svart. Middels høyt lysebrunt skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Kokosaroma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Spor av nøtter i en tørr avslutning.

Bottle. A dark brown beer with a finger thick tan head. Some lacing. The aroma is roasted and nutty, with hints of licorice and chocolate. It's full bodied and sweet on the palate, nicely carbonated, with flavors of chocolate, coffee, caramel and dark dried fruits. Lots of cocoa in the finish. Nice indeed, tasteful, although it feels sort of messy. 200516

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Fawn-coloured head, some of it remaining while leaving scattered lacing on the glass. Deep dark brownish body. Attractive aromas of chocolate and coconuts added by a careful scent of alcohol. Not overdone coconut flavours nicely blended with chocolate. Warming, roasted bitter finish. Smooth in the mouth. Good drinking. (Tromsø 30.04.2020).

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9.9%, IBU 28. Black colour, large beige head. Strong aroma of roast malts, chocolate and toasted coconut (Bounty chocolate). Full and rich mouthfeel. Smooth and fairly sweet (but not cloying) flavour with the same elements as the aroma, Bounty chocolate galore. A lovely dessert stout.
