Franziskaner Kellerbier ist unsere einzige Spezialität, die mit untergäriger Hefe gebraut wird, und somit kein Weissbier. Der Hallertauer Hopfen gibt dem Bier ein edles Aroma und eine feine Bitternote, die auch im Nachtrunk erlebbar ist. Die im Bier enthaltene Hefe verleiht ihm einen sehr weichen, runden und leicht würzigen Geschmack. Durch den geringeren Kohlensäuregehalt ist es angenehm trinkbar.
Der Geruch und Geschmack des Kellerbiers weisen in der Regel einen Mix aus Malz, Hopfen und leichter Fruchtsüße auf. Die durch unsere Braumeister sorgfältig ausgewählten Zutaten sorgen für einen ausgewogenen Genuss.
Als unfiltriertes, frisches Kellerbier ist Franziskaner Kellerbier von seiner handwerklichen und authentischen Brauart her ein zeitloser Biergenuss für besondere Auszeitmomente.

50 cl bottle . Hazy copper color.Medium off-white head. Poor retention. Biscuit, marzipan , caramel , malts flavor. Light to medium body. Soft carbonation. Good drinkability

Bottle from Bierzwerg, Greven. Aroma is sweetish malt, bread, straw, notes of yeast, caramel and a touch of honey. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Not what I want from my Keller, this is way too sweet.

Tap in a Steinkrug. Hay, flat. Taste is rather full, chewy even. This is drinkable. Forgot to rate the Helles I just had; both one of those I could have sworn I had already rated it ages ago.

Bottle. Toasty nose, lightly nutty, bread, some herbal hops. Deep orange-amber, hazy, with a tall, thick head. Sweet and estery, yeasty, orange, cantaloupe, clove, spicy, biscuity. Rather heavy body. Slightly bitter finish, a bit messy.

Creamy off white head on finely carbonated unclear dull golden coloured body. Malt, spice & citrus aroma. Medium bodied, creamy & cloying. Malt, caramel, banana, citrus & spiced tastes with a peppery finish. Deece & refreshing. Served from Perfect Draft.

# 3955; 12/2023. Nice bready and malty aroma, light yeasty and slightly fruity. Murky deep gold body; lacing off-white head. Caramel, malty, honey, light herbal, slightly celar finish. Good, slightly sweeter, kellerbier. 0,5 l, bottle, Getränkemarkt, Kornwestheim (Swabia, Germany).
