It is part of a special six-pack of beers—the Noble Gas Project—created with twelve other breweries to celebrate the third birthday of Siphon Brewing.
Working with Siphon Brewing on the recipe and process beforehand and attending on brewday were Frederik De Vrieze of Contreras and Chris Treanor of White Frontier.
KRYPTON is a classic German Weissbier—with its banana and clove fermentation character and refreshing wheat flavours—enhanced with the addition of blood orange juice for a fruity, bitter and refreshing twist.

29 June 2019. At Siphon 3d Birthday Party, Damme. Cheers to Anke, Erwin & Ama Deke! Cloudy yellow with a quickly thinning, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of mellow orange, blood orange, peach, wheat, yeast, banana peel, cheese, vague sweat. Taste is medium fruity sweet, hinting at mellow orange, faint banana & apple, slightly wheaty sour with bitter touches of blood orange & orange peel, juicy at that, bit of a cheesy, yeasty & bready edge. Dryish, grassy hoppy finish, lingering orange, bread & vague spices. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Hefeweizen with a twist, likeable.

Bottle picked up from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, nr Ghent, Belgium consumed at home Attenkirchen, Bavaria, Sunday 28th July 2019 whilst cooking Moussaka and listening to Amor - Sinking into a Miracle. Pours hazy orange, talking of orange the flavour as expected is very much orange, soft in the mouth and with a little buzz. The usual wheat beer characteristics are present but muted a tad by the orange. Good beer.

18/VII/19 - 33cl bottle from the brewery @ Gents Bierfestival Biermeesters Meeting (home), BB: 22/VI/21 - (2019-1047) Thanks to Steven L. for sharing the bottle!
Pretty cloudy orange beer, small creamy white head, irregular, bit stable. Aroma: sweet malts, caramel, bit sugary, some marzipan, some banana, orange peel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, oranges, soft acidity, nice bitterness, more fruity, lots of lemon. Aftertaste: sweet touch, very fruity, nice, bit sourish, very nice and complex.

Medium but dense pitting-in yellowish head over hazy orange beer, end of bottle releasing the yeast in UFO's, before dissolving. Very aromatic & perfumey nose, more reminiscent of raspberry than any of its real ingredients, but the impression proves fleeting. Clove then becoming prominent, as banana, the Weizen character confirmed. Clove, banana, cedarwood, cinnamon, wild strawberry, and indeed, citrus/orange in the flavour. Pretty complex, and what is more important, balanced, no flavour dominating. Finish is more outspoken citrus. Slight (clove/guaiacol) bitterness, also cinnamon bark, even some New World hops. Refreshing, medium bodied, wheatslick, yeast-filled. Feels lot better carbonated than it looks. This IS good. Don't expect fireworks, go for balance and refreshing. If the rest of the gasses are as good, we're in for a treat.
