Bottled. Brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is nutty, some chocolate, mild toast as well as some herbs. Flavour is nutty, some chocolate, a bit toasted tones with some mild bready and rye tones. Easy going, but still pleasant brew!

500 ml can, from NETTO Hjørring. ABV is 6.0%. IBU 35. Very dark brown colour, large and creamy beige head. Aroma of dark malts, caramel, liquorice and dark sugars. Smooth mouthfeel. Malty flavour, caramel, liquorice and dark sugars again, roasty finish, moderate bittering hops. Should not be drunk ice cold, better at cellar temperature.

Bottle, 6.0%. Fruity and spicy aroma, floral hops. Clear dark brown colour. Small unstable tan head. The flavour is roasted and fruity at first, followed by a distinct liquorice note. Lots of liquorice but I sort of like it.

Bottle, courtesy of MiP. Pours clear dark copper brown with airy but stable beige head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with roasty and hoppy notes and touches of yeast. Sweetish flavour of malt and caramel and dark sugar, with notes of roast and hoppy and nutty touches. Hints of yeast. Roasty and estery aftertaste with hints of yeast. Reasonable.

Bottle @ home shared by kermis. Clear dark amber color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, a bit sweet, slightly sugar. 4 different US hops? Well I don’t get it at all in the beer, so probably one hop flower per 1000000 liters. Only a very slight hint of liquorice perhaps, I don’t think I would have noticed if it wasn’t in the commercial description. Meh at best, although it is drinkable for sure.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish bubbly head, clear dark red color, with brown hues, nutty aroma with green herbal hints, some light jamminess and candy, flavor of bread, jam and candy, a little harsh sourness. Not too good.
