Pours brown from the bottle. A towering, frothy beige head takes over half the glass. Aroma is chocolate, a bit nutty, unexpectedly floral. Taste is dominated by a mild, roasted bitterness. Palate is rather bubbly, yet at times oily, with a body to the light side of medium. Overall, an odd one, overly carbonated, but still oddly enjoyable.

500ml bottle. Monstrous frothy beige head Kind of loud and hissy which make me think infection. Has a pleasant bittersweet chocolate tone, but I think it is getting eaten away. Not that impressive of an offering in the shape it reached me. Pretty shabby to send an infected beer overseas. Kills any interest in this brewery for me.

Bottle bought at Liquor Shed in Casper.

It pours pretty black, small short lasting head of foam. No lacing.

The smell is huge. Burnt charred malt, maybe even burnt coffee grounds. Pretty off putting to be honest.

The smell is in the taste but at a lower level. I get some dark chocolate bitterness and not much more.

Thin body with medium carbonation.

One of the strangest beers I've ever tasted. That smell!!

Bottle from Cafe Merlot, Enniskillen. Appearance - opaque black with red chinks. Creamy head some of which hangs around. Somewhat cola like generally. Nose - toffee and chocolate. Molasses and dried fruit, maybe raisins. Taste - chocolate, molasses and liquorice which goes into a charcoal nite at the end. This was well placed as a dry stout. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet dry and crunchy texture with a long dry finish. Overall - lovely beer especially at such a low ABV. Very well made!

Draught. Due to artificial lighting circumstances, arbitrary appearance rating Dry-ish, roasted nose, but sweetness and malts underneath suggested. Very intense roastiness, burnt breadcrust, meatroast and upped by the hops. Not very full-bodied, even light-ish. Very spritzy carbonation. Light, but attractive stout.

Black, bubbly light tan head, light lacing
Aroma - very light nose, soft roast, light burnt
Taste - dark malts, light smoky, soft toasted malts, ligth coffe grounds
Palate - Soft carb, light medium body, roasty bitter but not too much. Finish has some more dark malts, soft roast, light smoke
Overall - Quite a decent dry stout

Bottle. Black with a red hue, tan head. Aroma is milky coffee. Flavor is dry roasted malt, ash, bitter dry malt. Really intense dry bitter finish, leaves the mouth very dry.
