Bottle shared in London - thanks to The Wolf. Pours rich gold with a frothy white head. The nose has tangy wood, citrus, berries. Nice sourness in the flavor, some jammy fruits, wood. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Nice citric bite to finish, plenty of lemon, light funk, more wood. Lovely beer.

Bottle share for Colin’s 40th. Hazed onion skin coloured pour with a small halo of white head. Aroma is sharp acid. Flavour is sour acid berry tart, acid, some spicy apple berry. Palate is crisp acid, vinegar. Not bad. Tickles the back of the throat.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours haché orangey-amber with a small white head. The nose is soft, fruity, orange, jammy, fruit, some acidity, lactic, vinegar and earth. The taste is crisp, tart, vinegar, acidity, filth, sherbet, lactic, dirt and wood with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nor bad.

50cl bottle, cheap copy-style label, yellow, no BB date ... but damn this was might fine.

Name is 4D Ilan, at least on te label. Almost no head, red-foxy beer with lots of mini-UFO’s. Vinous/fruity nose, lambic-like. Bit of roses aroma - nice. Leathery, and sourish-fruity, red fruit. Serious acidity, old wood, again quite fruitlambic-like. Acidburn, light body, seems ’overattenuated’ , even when all CO² is gone. Pity about the carbonation. The rest is more than decent, despite the pH attack.

Tap @ YNWA, Kolding. Unclear reddish amber without head. Aroma is sweet, malty, grainy, wood, fruity and barnyard. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. Strange one. 090213
