Bière pression bue à la buvette de la foire à l'ail fumé d'arleux. Jolie blonde dorée aux billes invisibles, arôme sur la levure. Elle est douce, maltée, peu amère et désaltérante, au final elle passe très bien.

Bottled. Hazy golden, rich head. Fruity nose with red clover and lavender. Sweer with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Some vanilla and bread. Fruity and floral. Rather low bitterness.

Bottle at the Room 316 tasting, Tulip Inn Bodegraven, thanks to Ian 27/09/13. Hazed light golden amner with a moderately topped off whiteness. Nose is bitter fruit, peaches, orange. Taste comprises earthy fruits, bitter orange, straw, herbal notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, grassy finish. Acceptable enough and achieves the classic ’W’ rate !

Room 316 Tulip Hotel tasting with Ian and Colin. Very hazy amber beer, good white head. Palate is light and a little dry. Fine carbonation. Dry creamy malt. Seltzer minerals and a touch of brett. Lactose and a nice floral touch. Light dry finish. Not bad.

Good off-white head, frothy, over hazy yellow beer. Very flowery-herbal nose, hoppy. Eugenol with herbs and pale malts; Very strange beer - this is REAL clove flavour, not at all the Bavarian 4VG flavour. Light to medium bodied, giving the impression of being heavier than suggested by the ABV, still well-attenuated. Special. Fully intended? Txs, Stefaan!
