33cl bottle @ home. Lightly hazy orange color, small white head. Smell malts, some sour fruits. Taste malts, a bit sourish, sour fruits as well. Not good, not bad either. Low to medium carbo and body.

33cl BB10-2010. Label (photocopied with BB date written with a pen) indicates an ’ambrée’, thought the beer was infected as it pointed toward a sourish profile. In the end, this is a really well done beer once you take away the label description which I think is misleading.

Very dense, fine-bubbled yellow head over glowing orange-amber beer. Very sourish nose with lactic (mainly) and acetic acid; citruspeel and yoghurt. Less sour than the nose, but with still a massive lactic acid dose. Fruity, with citrus and again citruspeel & yoghurt; cookies made with sour cream. Very spritzy feel, despite only very fine visual bubbling. Quite refreshing, light to medium bodied. Aha! I seem to get a déjà-vu feel from a certain Vieille Cuvée d’Ambly me and my 1.5 year old son used to like very much.

33 cL bottle, bottle bought at the Saint Monon stand at ZBF2008. Old BBD date in 2000 crossed out and a handwritten 2009 has been added. Pours hazy orange with a minimal and fizzy white head immediately disappearing. Yeasty to light mouldy aroma, oxidised and oldish aroma. Flavour is oxidised fruity and light malty. Ends oxidised.
