Can. Lightly hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Piney nose with lesser skunk. Palate is soft, mildly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Nice malts, fluffy and with a nice light sweetness. Hops bring a good amount of spiciy orange with lesser pine and skunk. Smooth finish, piney linger. Seems to lack any rye punch but it’s a smooth and well balanced IPA that goes down very well.

Amber colored, unclear, medium- white head, good lacing. Aroma is of caramel malt, pine needles, bit fruity and grapefruity hops. Taste is medium sweet caramel malt background, light rye, moderate pine and grapefruit hops with some fruity notes, medium bitterness, dryish bit bready finish, slightly harsh crystal. Medium bodied, soft+ carbonation. (can, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Can from Beer Gonzo webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at home Sunday 17th January 2016 Hazy light gold ah..maybe mid warm gold a sticky warm head sits atop.A soft mouthfeel the hops are quite assertive (quite) but it’s also a malty beer. Whilst there is a little caramel underpinning things the pine resin really shines, just looked at the abv, surprised to see that this is 7.5% it is far too drinkable. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.7

Can at Andrew Usher’s. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of mango, pineapple and grass. Flavour of sweet malt, pineapple, peach and lime zest. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Prickly carbonation. Verging on too sweet, but this is a full-flavoured, easy drinking beer. I’d gladly have this again.

Bomber to pint glass. Spiciness dominates. Blood orange. Faint cardboard. Bready fruit cake. Turbid orange with full off white head. Flavor is moderate high orange. Breadiness from the rye really leaves a cloying feel to it. Besides the cardboard and weird cloying aspect, this beer actually is not too bad.

Can. Light amber, hazy, with a thin head. Has that rich chewy rye character that goes with sort of stale hops. Moderate bitterness, light rye character, a touch of piney hop in the finish. Ok,

Can. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Nice citric and piney hops aroma, just a bit stale, with malt, and some spicy rye. Sweetish malt flavor with toast, a bit of caramel, some rye, and a bitter hops finish, a bit piney and citric. Medium-bodied. Decent, but could be fresher.

Thanks FosterJim.
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy orange color with a dissipating slim fingered white foamy head. Lacing slides into the beer.
The smell has an eloquent citrus to sly aromatic rye malt, slightly spicy, slightly sweet, blended well.
The taste combined a sweet citrus to spicy rye to lightly sweet rye. It leaves a gentle sweet rye aftertaste with a slight dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sesionability about it. The carbonation is there, appropriate for the style and for me. Decent harshness of an IPA hits appropriately on my tongue.
Overall, I say this does everything it’s supposed to. Good job, Black Market, I’d be willing to try more of your offerings.
