Light Amber. Nice rye spicy nose with some fruitiness. The mouth isn’t spectacular, and lacks balance. Moderate bitterness with some rye slickness but lacks balance though still not balanced.

Draught at Collective on Tap, Woodinville, WA
Hazy light amber color with small compact head. Lean IPA, the rye adds a mild nice edge to the flavor; the hopping is quite resiny, with some bitter oranges in the end.
Clean and very nice.

Pour is a clear copper with a average white head. Aroma is hoppy, spicy and sweet malty. Flavor is a decent dark bready malt with some spicy pine hops to follow. No real huge rye presence but I’m guessing it’s in there. This is more like a overly hopped marzen. Lots of bready malts with a decent hoppy back bone. Not what I was expecting but the combo of the bready malts and spicy hops works well here.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, orange-gold with a foamy white head. Decent IPA, some light pine, melon, mildly bready malts, a bit of grassy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with faint tangy rye bread, light sticky resinous pine. Not bad.

22oz bomber pours up with a clear copper body that supports a nice light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up a mix of resiny pine hops and some sweet candied pine, candied apple fruit and some molasses. The taste is sugary candy sweet and bitter resiny pine hops that are both heading in opposite directions and seem to tear the experience apart. Sugary candy and grassy resiny pine hop bitterness are note working too well for me here.

Bottle, thanks Stawn! Pours hazy amber ith a medium creamy tan head that sticks around forever and laces well. Aroma is caramel, pine needles and tree resin. Flavor is the same, light sweet and light bitter, some rye bite. Medium body, very smooth mouthfeel. Where are the nuanced hop flavors and aromas? I suspect this has some freshness issues, but since they DONT DATE THEIR BOTTLES, its nobodies fault but theirs.

On tap. Pours with a somewhat off-white head that lasts over and orange to amber body. Medium to low clarity. Aroma of hopes, orange, citrus, pine, slightly tea like with a light rye crispness. Flavors of hop bitterness and further hop flavors of citrus and orange. Light rye notes. Lively carbonation with a dry finish.
