From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Aroma is dark malt, lots of chocolate, tasty coconut, cream, roast, more chocolate. Flavour is sweet with a fine bittersweet finish. Body is full and creamy. Great coconut Stout, like a liquid Bounty, I love it.

Uit de fles, bijna zwart van kleur. Caramel, cocos, geroosterde mout en as geuren je tegemoet. Vol van smaak. Zoet met ladingen cocos. Bountyrepen. Proef iets van citroen. Weinig koolzuur. Cacao in de nasmaak, mooi biertje.

33cl Bottle. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of coconut, some lime, milk chocolate, roast, quite sweet. Flavour is sweet, milky, coconut, hint of lime, chocolate, roast, caramel, bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. The BA version is soooo much better.

Tap. Pours clear black, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is roasty, heavy roasted coconut, cocoa, roasted malt. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, 😗 lots of coconut. Medium plus body. Heavy handed perhaps, but I love coconut, so there's that. Lime may enable other flavors, but I am not getting it per se

Backlog. Had in Amsterdam in may. Black with a brown head. Loads of coconut, milk chocolate, quite sweet. Some zesty citrus lingering in the behind, but in all just a very good, sweet chocolate stout.

Fast receding yellow-tan head over virtually black beer. End of bottle, however, features the largest, most intimidating UFO ever witnessed, a true sludge.Very fruity nose, citrus, chewing gum, green leaves, faint roast, cocos & whisky; quite unusual aroma for an R.I.S. Roast, mild bitter with sweet background; cocos and spirit. Banana, cucumber retronasal. Coconut flavour mounts warming up, traces of lime appearing. Well-bodied, but not really viscous-thick. Restrained alcoholwarming, medium carbonation. Very good, very unusual R.I.S. Thanks for sharing!

(Draught at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 23 Feb 2017) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, vanilla, roasted nuts and citrus peel. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, chocolate, vanilla, roasted nuts and a balanced citric/cacao bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made imperial stout with an interesting touch of nuts and citrus. Very nice.
