Bottle thanks to Shu. Pours a cloudy brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is raspberry, leather, wood, dark fruit. Slick body, leather, wood, berry, light acidity, held up well.

Another bottled shared by Ryan at his sour tasting. The pour was mirky brown with all kinds of sediment in it. Wow, this is a weird wacky blend. I say that in the most non derogatory way. There was some muddled up dark fruit, funk, and bit of ass in this blend. I think it was actually sweaty work out ass........

Very big thanks to Maltzilla for this bottle. Pours dark brown, small head. Fruity-sourish aroma. Starts sourish-malty, fruity, notes of raisins and plums and other dark fruity. A bit rusty-prickly. Finish more sourish, still not too much. Warming aftertaste. May be past its prime, but still a very enjoyable beer!

Draft. Rich amber beer. Tart, sour and woody aroma. Fruity, tart flavor with honey, sourness, and wood. Medium bodied. Tartness lingers with dark fruit and honey.

On tap at Stone Sourfest. Pours with no head and a hazy brown body. Aroma is vinous, with berries, honey and chocolate. Taste is sweet with chocolate, vinous notes, honey, and pretty heavenly. Light bubbles.

Draft at the Bistro BA Fest; clear brown with a medium off-white head; Nose of plums, dark fruits, and very light tartness; flavor was sweet plummy, and winey! Not near as good as Veritas 003!

GABF 2007. A pale golden-brown beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of fruit and brettanomyces. The flavor is swweet malty with notes of over ripe fruits, wood, cherries, and other berries, as well as lighter notes of brettanomyces, leading to a dry acidic and woody finish. I dig the flavor.

Draught at Lost Abbey
Burgundy colour with hints of brown. Gorgeous, gorgeous aroma - deeply vinous and complex with blackcurrant, pinot noir, oak and subtle florals. Full mouthfeel shows evidence of meady oiliness. Winelike and oaky, with woody accents, crazy rich fruitiness and a big depth of malty tang. Long, dry finish. You’ve got to be kidding me.

Draught (?!!) No head over deep-red, Cola-like colour. Absolutely stunning nose of wine, cherries, grapes, fresh garden herbs. Cherries, sherry, Madeira, game sauce; vinous as no other; yet delicate and complex as none. Somehow as enhanced with Ve-Tsin. Slick, viscous, alcoholburn, and -warming. Perfect balance sweet-sour (and even salty as with the Ve-Tsin?). My new Tomme Arthur favourite. Stunning. This is, BTW, THE beer for game with cranberries. Forget about wine.
