Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is stale malt and weak hops. The flavour is medium bitter. Medium bodied with a bitter liqourice palate and a long rather unpleasant bitter finish. Can’t say I really enjoyed this too much. The aftertaste wasn’t good. It’s refreshing but the hops don’t really work for me. I need my pale ales to be a little more "pale"!

330 ml bottle purchased from The Tiddly Pomme, Faversham. A bit light, but pleasant aroma of citric hops. Nice and refreshing flavor of pale malt, citric fruit and some bitterness. Medium to light body – feels right and some bitterness in aftertaste. Decent and refreshing thirst quencher. Probably closer to an American Pale Ale than Bitter or IPA.
