Bottle, pours orangey amber with a small white head. Aroma and flavour is a great balance of caramel malts and citrusy hops. Almost no bitterness, but a slight hop bite that just overshadows the malt backing. Nicely done IPA.

Bottle at Agro Café, Granville Island
Clear amber color; big head, frothy. Light caramel aroma. Good caramel flavor, nutty, with strong bitterness; lean body; the bitterness (also from roasted malt) in the end is a tad too much. More bitter than an English IPA, but not as fruity (at all) as American IPAs. Average.

A dark copper amber ale with an extra thcil onctuous off white head. Lightly malty with nice citrusy hops. In mouth, a classy little IPA with nutty notes, a nice sweetness, and good British hopping. Quite good. Thanks Cappy.

Bottle. Dark amber, golden foamy head. Nice grassy, resiny, chocolate, light smoky aroma. Roasted and chocolate malt base, lightish body, grassy, citrussy and herbal hop-balance. Nice.

Chestnut-amber; yellowish tinted medium head, irregular. Gorgeous raisin-y and resiny hopsnose, aromatic in a way that is not unlike sauced pipetobacco, or even "pot" smoked. Dried oranges for X-mas decoration. Slightly sourish, even acidic taste, quite lemony, with a hopflavour behind it. Sourishness is more than a taste-figure. The MF is also watery, thinnish and it has hence a streak of (hopped) lemon squash. It’s better than OK overall, but the palate is a letdown. I’m getting more and more the impression that the West-Canadian micros are shy of a good malts’ punch. Beef up the hops a bit, will ya? TXS, Mike.

Has a hoppy nose with hints of caramel and a firm hoppy body, and hoppy finish. There is very little outstanding about the beer except it really has no major flaws.

Orangey-brown colour, and has a hint of chocolate chip, touch of earthy malt, and lots of C-hop
