A caramel colored beer with a huge white head. The aroma is somewhat spicy. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, spices, and alcohol. Very fruity and spicy for a pilsener - and dark in the color too.

Amber pilsner with a thick collapsable white head. Light caramel aroma. Crisp sweet malt with faint hops and not much else. Very plain product from Unibroue...will it be ever be axed by Sleeman???

Short-lived, yellowish head, heavy carbonation keeps a disparate ring on top of the orange-copper clear beer. Quite malty nose, accentuated by some oxidation (beer ought not to be old), bit grassy as well. Flavours/aroma’s ar oxyized and skunked as well - stupid clear glass bottles. Very malty, even some caramel, but nary any sweetness, which is surprising. Gradually a build-up from a grassy flavour. Light body, not refreshing. This is a misfit for Unibroue. One thing: it reflects my opinion on a certain pretentious music group. If that was the idea, they’ve succeeded.

Bottle – Poured a light amber colored beer with a nice standard head with standard retention. Aroma is sweet with some nice malt easily detectable. Taste is very sweet, light and quite refreshing. This is not your usual Belgian Ale from Unibroue but more of a summer beer to drink on the patio.

2006-12-01, bottle, 6-2-5-3-10=26
Amber color. Aroma of Amaretto (thus almonds) and sugars. Dry caramel taste; ordinary bitterness. Boring, as many weak Unibroue.

2004-02-15, bottle, 5-3-5-3-10=26
Light amber color. Light aroma; malt and hop flowers. Some maltiness and hop, but dry and a bit metallic. Strong final bitterness.

Crisp, dryish Vienna-style. Like with U, there is nothing wrong with the beer per se, but it isn't worthy of Unibroue.
