Bottle from Leclerc Laon (02). Hazy amber with a small of white head. Malty, shy roasty hints, rather dry, with some earthy hops in the finish.

330ml bottle from Gamm Vert. Pours an unclear gold, small white head. Aroma gifts you some pale malt and a strange off-note sweetness. Taste has more of this sweetness, possibly attributed to its malt, with syrupy nods. Fairly unlikely i’ll be revisiting this.

Bouteille 75cl, thanks to my coworker for bringing this one from France. BB 01-2015.

Bottled. Hazy golden, brief head. Tart citric nose with lots of barnyard and horseblanket. Fairly light bodied. Slim and tart, sourish like a lambic and with brett and everything that goes with it. This bottle was best before 2005, and it seems to have developed to full blown lambic with all the complexity that comes with it.

An unclear orange beer with a collapsing white head. The aroma is very discomforting spicy - the flavor is acidic - as if it has been wild fermented, and also contains notes of grapefruit.

Hazy gold; very fine & dense, slightly yellow tinted head, huge. Overpowering barnyard nose - the dunghill in particular. Brett too, no doubt, Bierstein , hay - with chicken- or probably ducksh*t - and some lemon. "Strange" aroma returns in the flavour. Not that I consider myself a specialist on the taste of animal excrement. Bitterish, tartar - and again a whiff of lemon. Medium bodied, some slickness and overcarbonated or is it: There’s been contamination - no doubt. I’m not sure I want to know with what - I might find out tomorrow. I’ve had MUCH better from De Clerck. This bottle went awfully wrong.
