On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media. Al naso note di after eight, cioccolato, menta, caffè. In bocca è gustosa, fresca, attacco dolce con finale amaro. Corpo pieno, carbonazione media. Buonissima.

Sample at Trail's End. Pours black, with a fairly big, foamy, tan head. The aroma is cocoa, burnt toast, mild mint, coconut, and walnuts. Sweet and roasty, with a good, mellow bitterness. Medium to heavy body, with a smooth, boozy, sharp mouthfeel. Basically, alcoholic thin mints! Lovely!

Draught @ Beer Cheese, Northport. Inky black with spongy tan head, woodsy syrupy rum aroma, low carbonation, bitter roasted malt taste with cinnamon/cloves flavor, alcohol undertones, dark fruits flavor, thin body, long finish. Spicy and warming.
