First rating (Draught at The Rover, Göteborg) Shady orange color, fluffy white head. Spritzy acidic malty scent. Spicy banana and metallic taste. Metallic and grainy aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness. A bit creamy. Feels like a weak Belgian Wit, but works nice as a summer beer.6/4/6/3/412=3.1Second rating(Draught at Bishops Arms, Västra Hamngatan, Göteborg)On March 10, 2008I’m guessing its the same beer, though this was called Steen Brugge Blonde, at 6.5% ABV.Clear golden color, white to yellow lasting bubbly head. Banana ester, acidic, amlty, sweet and metallic taste. Herbal bitter taftertaste. Sweet, fruity and banana ester scent. MEdium to spritzy mouthfeel. Medium bitterness, perhaps to the low side.6/3/6/3/11=2.9

0.33l bottle purchased here in SplitClear golden colour with lots of lazy carbonationand a med-big white fluffy but thick head that went away med-slow pace. Yeasty-spicey, somewhat stale and bready nose with just a touch of malt. Light spicy-sourish taste, coriander, mild lemony-bitter hopiness in the finish-aftertaste, weak cardboard, a bit biting yet a bit smooth. Pleasant, simple yet complex in its way, but far from great. Ok.

Bottled at Pressklubben, Stockholm. Clear deep golden, firm head. Evident almondy yeast aroma. Sweet with clean mouthfeel. and medium body. Slim flavours with dextrose and yeast in the front seat. Low bitterness. Very basic Belgian ale. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Brugs Blond on 02 Oct 2005 at 08:26 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 4 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 4. Original review text: Bottled. Deep golden. Sweet and fruity with notes of melon, cane sugar and tin. Sweaty and unfrefined, not succesful at all.

Bottled. Golden colour, white foamy head. Aroma is fruits, malts and some yeast. The flavour is dominated by vanilla and fruits. Very refreshing to drink. Hides the alcohol well.

Colour of old gold: good yellowish head, dense & fine. Pale malts, a little caramel, parsley, and above all, there’s an overlying ’aromatic’ benzene aroma. Faint caramel, toffee flavours. Because of the freezing serving temperature, not too sweet. Still - sweet/neutral by main taste. The benzene thankfully doesn’t prolong itself into the taste. Finish is slightly gingerbread. Medium bodied at best (then again, the temperature...). Bl**dy useless beer. Mr. Toye, if you want to reverse things at Palm, and want again respect, revive our Aerts 1900 , please! --- Beer aliased from original tick of Brugs Blond on 29 Oct 2003 at 14:07 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Golden orange, fully clear at start; huge head, collapsing, bit of lace. Cookies, fruity - citrus in the nose, and alcohol. Slightly sweet with some fruity and earthy flavours. Head has all the bitterness. Obvious alcoholburn in the mouthfeel, but liitle effect on the taste. rather dry. Strange beer. Unexciting, but the fruity aroma's seem to hint at something better to come. Which doesn't.

A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet yeasty, while the flavor is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also hints of alcohol, and with a smooth mouthfeel. A boring blond.

Gold ale. Honey aroma. Good body, sweet in the front flavour, then more equilibrate. Ordinary palate.
