Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is fruity and a bit 'green' hops with citrus, herbal notes, orange, tropical fruits, mango, peach, papaya juice. Flavour is mildly sweet with an equally mild bitterness. Body is medium. Pretty smooth this one, and much (!) better than the original Barbarian Fishing.

Bottle at home from DeBierkonig, Amsterdam, 15th June 19. Pours a murky, orange brown soup, not great. Aroma is tropical, citrus, peach, candy. Taste is citrus, pith, caramel, biscuits, malt, peach, mango, pineapple, pine. Good and different, slightly raw and unrefined

Bottle courtesy of Benzai, many thanks! Pours murky orange with a white head. Oily, grassy with some cookie dough, a bit of hay and lemon zest. Lingering bitterness. Decent one!

Bottle at home. Murky orange color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, citrussy initially but then a bit more sweetish with a slight bitter hint in the finish. Hmm ok but not a fan. 7-2-7-3-15.

Bottle from Beerdome and shared at home - hazy golden orange pour with a white head. Fruity juicy notes of tangerine, mango, slightly messy though, citrus rind bitterness, medium body, green grassy piney hoppy finish. Alright.

21st April 2019
Hazy and slightly dirty looking gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, sweet. Hops bring a good does of orange and tangerine peel with accompanying peel bitterness, quite tangy too. Overlaying is a light but brighter tangerine, mildly spicy. Smooth pine and modest ripe tropical fruits. Smooth and semi dry finish. Mild peel bitter linger. Wasn't sure about this one on the first few sips but it's a rapid grower.

Zacht zoet fruit, licht bitter. Gevaarlijk drinkbaar.
