Bottle@Jens Ratebeer down tasting (11/02/2019) - black pour with a beige head. Dark roasted malty and hoppy with notes of cocoa and caramel, coke, nice citrus fruity undertones punching through, medium body, dark roasted and hoppy finish. 33 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown, small brown head. Aroma is dark malty, solid hoppy. Bitter. Herbal. Solid hoppy. Slight fruity. Dry, bitter and crisp hoppy finish.

Bottled at 4.7%. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and dried fruits. The flavor is roasted malt, bread, and chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 030218.. Black color with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, pine. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, pine, caramel, yeast, resin, berries. Nice easy drinkable beer.

Bottle at home. The colour is dark brown with a big beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, pine, leather, vinegar, rubber, nuts and some flowers. Lots of roasted malt in the flavour along with coffee, ash and pine, and strangely bitter in the end. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, light body and medium bitterness. A roasted and little odd BIPA.

Flaske fra Coop Extra (Harstad), delt med Johnne: brunsvart med dyprødt skjær og ok skum. Aroma av skogbunn, furunål, overmodne bjørnebær og mørk karamell. Slank smak med overnevnte inntrykk sammen med brente brødskorper og småsure bær. Ganske mild bitterhet og kort ettersmak. Kan tenke meg at 5,5% - versjonen hadde litt mer tyngde i smaksbildet. For svak humleprofil til å bli en typeriktig og god svart ipa.

Bottle at home. Pours copper with little off-white head. Aroma of dark bread, smoke, dark berries. Tastes slightly bitter. Thin bodied. Interesting, but definitely not an IPA.
