A light yellow beer, a head is white and almost medium. Aroma has spicyness of coriander, wheat, some lemon. Traditional. Taste has lightness of wheat, coriander, some other spicyness also. Quite light bodied and refreshning. Traditional wit, good.

Bottle from Tschingg in Zurich. Pours reddish yellow. Aroma is elderflower syrup, herbs, candy, mint, soy sauce, far far far from a wit. Not really bad, just really odd. Body is light and watery, with lots of paperboard, chicoree, tortured yeast, soy sauce again, and some artificial sweetness and bitterness behind. Lively carbonation into a dryish palate which continues the oddity of flavours. All begging the question: What went wrong here?

KØLF 281214. Golden-yellow colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, yeast, malt, orange. Flavour is dry, fruit, yeast, malt, citrus, coriander, orange, pine. Medium body. OK beer.

Bottle. A gusher producing a very unclear yellow-ish orange body and a big, white head. Lacings. The aroma has fruityness dominating, oranges, some yeast and pine cones. The flavor has a nice bitterness, some herbs and orange peel. Coriander hints. A bit high on carbonation, medium to full body. Lasting finish with a nice bitterness and fruityness. Lasting finish. Quite nice this one, except that it’s gushing. 141228

From Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. 500ml poured form a design bottle, shared with Finn Arvid. Huge, foamy white head, foamy lacing, as well. Misty pale golden body. Spiced fruity aromas. Sweet and mid-tart taste of citrus fruits with mild yeasty fruitiness to the finish. Soft to lively carbonated and foamy on the swallow. Fair enough (Tromsø 19.11.2014).

Draft sample @ Fiera della Birra, Cesena ’14. Dorée paille, léger trouble, col fin blanc. Arôme est léger au niveau levure, rétro fruité d’agrumes, écorce d’orange et coriandre. Palais garde ce côté levure belge et un rapprochement léger vers l’allemand qui l’emporte un peu sur le tout. Note également pas le mat de froment avec l’habituel palais de coriandre, en épice et un fruité citronné ponctué par un peu d’écorce orangée. Rien de nouveau ici, mais une blanche correcte.

500 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is %%, OG 1048, IBU 18. Gusher bottle, the glass fills instantly by white foam. Takes forever to subside. A hazy straw coloured beer slowly appears. Strong yeasty, wheaty and spicy aroma, notes of coriander and orange peel. Citrussy flavour, not very sweet. Also notes of coriander. Low bitterness. Could be a good beer if it was not way over-carbonated and a tad too yeasty.
