Bottle from De Bierliefhebber. Luscious pepper aroma with ample white & black pepper, supported by notes of straw, mineral and grain. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium with lively carbonation. Rather one-sided beer but I like it.

Tap at Beergeek. Moderate body and honeyish malty sweetness. Med-high carbonation. Character is mostly honeyish, moderafely fruity though, with light green apple flavour. Not much of pepper really, just impaired beer.

Tap at Beergeek. Hazy orange body, white head. Huge peppercorn aroma, some light honey, but also some tooth rot notes, odd funk. Sweetish peppery taste, again some tooth rot funky touches... the atypical notes of this one actually bring it slightly down, but it's an interesting concept.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy orange amber, thin off-white head. Aroma: Malty, whet malt, sweetish, herbal and orange hints. Taste: Wheat malt,, grainy and straw notes, smooth mouthfeel, subtle herbal notes going to subtle spicy white pepper notes towards and at finish. Fruity hints of orange / tangerine. Pepper is very well balanced with the base beer, never too spicy / hot. Over moderate sweetness, light bitterness. The white pepper is a nice addition, decent beer, ok but overall lacking some complexity and excitement in my opinion.

(Flasche) Es hat eine bernsteinerne Farbe, ist fein trüb mit einer gelblichen Schaumkrone. Das Aroma ist eher schwach, Getreidig und im Kopf kommt der Pfeffer durch, wie bei einer Pfeffersalami, nicht wie frisch aus der Mühle. Geschmacklich ist es süßlich, etwas sirupartig, wenig bitter und kaum Pfeffergeschmack. Der Abgang ist etwas ölig.

Bottled 330ml. -from Schneider’s Getränkemarkt Cologne. Uncleaar golden coloured, medium sized white head, light herbal and peppery nose. Sweetish malty, light dry peppery, slightly spicy and herbal with mild finish. Interesting but thin.
