A maroon 'Dubbel' with a malty and spicy fragrance, a mildly bitter flavour and a dry aftertaste. Her sweet scents of licorice and rock candy accompany her full taste of fruit and spices. This fiery flame has a spicy character but is mild to handle.

0.33l bottle a Braai Tapperij de Mug. This one pours a deep a dark amber red mild cloudy looking body. On the top there's a big lasting and mildly lacing beige head. Lots of sweet caramelly dark sugars. I get tones of red dark fruits, some red sweet apple. Dark candied sugars and a little Belgian. Smells nice. Tastes really good actually. The first thing I get is vanilla and there's lots of sweet nice caramel in here. It has a mild oily texture in the mouth and it's just about average on the carbonation. Smooth in the taste. Ends with more dark dried berries and fruits. Long burp. Really easy to drink and easy to like - especially after a long day traveling. 07.03.2017

Bottle at home. Clear dark reddish brown with thin head. Sweet caramel malts. Wet grain, sugar cane, figgs, melasse, salmiak, dark chocolate, sour-dough, yeast. Medium sweet, light bitter, faint saltiness. Over medium body, light chalky texture and creamy fat mouthfeel. The average carbonation gives a peppery spicy touch. Pretty nice.

From tap at BierCab, Barcelona. Dark brown, almost black color with small beige brown head. Very nice aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark fruits, light caramel. Taste is sweet and bitter, like the aroma but not so intense. Medium body almost oily with soft carbonation.
