Made with Has Bean Yirgacheffe Konga Sedie Natural beans. This gives bright Ethiopian coffee flavour, predominantly of blueberry, to balance with the IPA bitterness.

330ml bottle. Hazy orange brown with a small off-white head. Aroma: coffee beans and fruity. Taste: coffee really prominent with nice fruity notes accompanying it, tropical, pine, pleasant bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Really nicely done coffee IPA.

330ml bottle. Pours murky brown. Big fruity coffee and big fruity hops. Cherry, mango, grapefruit pith, hazelnuts. Sustained bitter finish with both coffee and tropical fruit notes. Lots of flavours, perhaps at the expense at balance, but thatโ€™s not a problem with me. Tasty.

Bottle from Sโ€™s UK trip at home in HK. Sort of dull almost brown-copper pour with fine white head. Aroma is strong fruity coffee with some hoppy dankness underneath. Nice. Taste is pronounced coffee but not as much as in aroma and some earthy bitterness. More balanced coffee IPA - less aggressive in either the coffee or bitter directions. Some lasting bitterness. Not bad.

2016 catch up - Bottle at home - The look and head of the beer were great and the flavour was amazing. The coffee added a level of bitterness without overpowering the beer. It acted as a layer to support the overall flavour and the integration was perfect. This was a top-notch double IPA in all but name.

Bottle from Oddbins Beer Shop, Blackheath. Amber pour with a white head. Earth, light coffee, grapefruit, mint, light malt aroma. Flavours of grapefruit, dried herb, a modicum of coffee. Good bitter hop kick in the finish.

Bottle@Railway, Streatham Common, London (11/03/2017) - amber pour with off-white head. Fruity and malty with some nice coffee notes coming in, some sweet and toasted malty notes, herbal grassy piney hoppy, solid bitter hoppy into the close.
