# 3574; 4/2023. Caramel, zesty, citrus aroma. Hazy amber body; persistent off-white head. Resiny, citrus, zesty, light roasty. Good, bittersweet american IPA. 0,33 l, bottle, shop, Tübingen (Swabia, Germany).

Leicht eingetrübt bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hopfig fruchtiger, malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich hopfig, fruchtig mit Grapefruit und Mango, malzig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Kalea-Bieradventkalender 5.12.2021 (Hofer-Version) Ein IPA, das mit ordentlich amerikanischen Hopfen eingebraut wurde. In diesem Fall eben der namensgebenden Chinook-Hopfen, benannt nach einem Indianerstamm aus der Gegend. Geschmacklich ist es intensiv grasig-herb, so ist es mir aber einfach zu bitter. Aromatisch ist es schon, aber die Bitterkeit ist mir zu unausgewogen und aggresiv.

Kraftbierwerkstatt Chinook, Fläschchen aus dem Kalea Craft Beer Advent Calender 2021. - Goldbraun, trüb. - In der Nase gedämpfte exotisch-zitrusfruchtige Hopfung: Pampelmuse, Litschi, rote Beeren und Fenchel. - Antrunk weich toastig-karamelmalzig und satt zitrusfruchtig-hopfenherb mit Orangenbittere, feiner tropischer Frucht und bockbierartiger aber gut eingebetteter Süße. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang satt harzige aber nicht übertriebene Bittere. - Schönes, sehr aromatisch und doch rund gehopftes IPA. (16.11.2021.)

Flasche 0,33l: Kastanienbraun, rotbraun, leichte Trübung, stabiler mittelporiger Schaum; fruchtige + leicht würzige Nase, frische Hopfennoten, Zitrusnoten, Maracuja, Grapefruit, etwas Pinie, Malz, Getreide, etwas Karamell, kräftige Hefearomen, angenehme fruchtig-würzige Bitterkeit; fruchtiger + würziger Körper, kräftig-würzige Süße, frische Hopfennoten, Zitrusnoten, Grapefruitzest, etwas Pinie, Malz, Getreide, dunkles Karamell, cremig, kräftige Kohlensäure, kräftige Hefearomen; angenehmer fruchtig-würziger Nachgang

Fruity honey nose. Taste of overipe tropical fruits and herbal hoppy finush

Amber colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some light sweet malts. Really low bitterness. Misses the punch and bitterness associated with Chinook hops. Fairly bland.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange amber. Taste: Malty, rather sweet, flowers, moderate bitter, hints of lemonade syrup, butter and light hints of caramel. On the edge of being an IPA in my opinion. Flat taste, definitely not my kind of beer.

Bottle 330ml. shared @ BAF 2017 [ Borefts After Festival: BAF! ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Kraftbierwerkstatt Chinook ].Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, sweet malt, caramel, light floral - herbal hops. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, bread, light herbal - floral.
