A love of lemon ice tea resulted in the conception of this guy, so using our lemon sour as a base we infused the lemon zest/juice and TEA hopped it using fresh Earl grey.

Keg at the 4th Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Session III, 02/05/2015. Pissy yellow with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is floral, lemon jus, straw, tangy citric. Taste comprises lemon rind, tea leaves, perfumed, floral, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a lightly soured close. Ok linner but could do with a touch more acidity, a little overly perfumed for me.

On tap at What’s Brewing. It’s an unclear, pale yellow beer with a small, white head. The aroma is lemony and lightly acidic, with pale malt notes. Lemon, even more lemon, acidity and some pale malts in the flavor, leading to a lemony finish. Dry, on the palate, thin to medium bodied. A refreshing beer, but too one-dimensional. 141031

Flavour is fresh lemon rind, floral notes, some slight sharp sour, kaffir lime. Zippy approachable tart sourness. Palate is crisp and tart with a dry finish. Lingering zesty lemon.

Draught (3,6%) @ Ølhus København. Aroma has relatively strong Earl Grey aromas with some fruity tones. Sweet fruit candy. Flavour is rather tart with strong citron aromas, some fruits and some tea in the finish. Also sour cream and milky tones typical to Berliner weisse. Like a lemon tart. No tartness in aroma, but it totally attacks in the flavour. Interesting.
