Massive Beers Series
Ciemny jak głębiny morskie, gęsty jak broda Neptuna i gładki jak tafla wody podczas flauty. Nowy porter bałtycki w wersji imperialnej nie potrzebuje wielkich słów. Po prostu spróbujcie.
Szkło: snifter
Temp. serwowania: 12-14°C
Piwo ciemne, niefiltrowane, pasteryzowane

Tap @ Cuda Na Kiju, Warsaw. Dark brown pour with some light brown foam on the top. Nose is roasted, some chocolate and some coffee there. Tastes chocolaty, cocoa and light booze. Quite decent actually, liquid chocolate linger with some light bitterness. Dark roasted and dried fruits. Pretty tasty, full on baltic porter.

New Baltic porter by one of those new generation Polish craft breweries, draught at Modeste. Pale greyish white, moussy, opening head, blackish robe with mahogany edge. Aroma of melting milk chocolate, chocolate liqueur, fudge, hazelnuts, toffee, treacle, brown sugar, brown rum, candied date, glue. Sweetish onset, fig and glazed pear, sugary-caramelly, very toffeeish malt body, supple and oily with full feel and adequate, softish carbonation, creamy but developing a soft roasted bitterness towards the end with a spicy, even somewhat 'rooty' hop bitterness in the end and rum-like, heating but tolerable alcohol. Very accomplished Baltic porter from one of the countries that kept this old style alive before the advent of the craft beer storm.
