Keg at the brewery taproom Amsterdam. A clear mahogany brown coloured pour with a creamy light tan head, frothy. Aroma is salty roast, meaty, dry woosy roast, hint of ash. Flavour is composed of bitter roast, black roast, mineral, mellow black malts, liquorice, little szechwan pepper. Palate is semi sweet, creamy, moderate carbonation,

Tap. Deep dark brown color. Coffee dominating the aroma. Malty sweetish flavor, soft roast, coffee. Very nice.

On tap at the taproom, Amsterdam on 22nd March 2019. Clear deep sepia brown tan foam and scant lacing. Rich and intense coffee roasty malt aroma. Blast of fresh coffee and burnt malts in-mouth, and just a hint of smoke. Rich, roasty finish. Full bodied with an engaging texture.

Sample at Walhalla. Dark brown with tan head. Big sweet roasted chocolate malts. Massive fat buttery nutty creamy coffee on top. Sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Draught @ Poesiat & Kater Stoutfest 2018. Black color. Beige head with good retention. Aroma's: roast, coffee, light fruit. Retronasal: big coffee-roast, light coffee-sour. Flavor is moderate roasted bitter with light sweetness. Light medium bodied. Finishes somewhat dry with big roast, moderate bitter.
