Night Drift was a deep, full-bodied and complex Imperial Stout, brewed in collaboration with our friends Laugar, from the Basque Country. With this beer you’ll drift off the beaten path, into a world of double-chocolate and salted caramel. Just watch out, it’s stronger than you might think…

Black with thin creamy head and very low carbonation. Aroma is like treacle toffee with the combination of roasted malts and caramel. Rich texture. Bitter chocolate in the finish.

Bottle from Craftissimo at home. Opaque rich black pour with light tan head. Aroma is not salted caramel but definitely lots of chocolate malt. Taste is quite unpleasant - burnt cough syrup and chocolate malt. Certainly no salted caramel. Didn’t finish.

On tap in Brussels Beer Project in the company of Dad, Barry and Scott Thursday 7th March 2018 Pours black with a nice cappuccino coloured head, nice coffee, lots of coffee. Easy drinking for a big Impy Stout, plenty of chocolate, smooth but there is a little gritty cocoa, I like a this. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker. Shared with Anke.
Pours cloudy black with a small, frothy, beige head. The aroma contains caramel, butterscotch, dark chocolate, mocha, roasted malt, some raisin. It tastes light malty/chocolatey sweet and light to medium roasted bitter; roasted, coffee-like finish; warming alcohol but decently hidden; bit yeasty and spicy. Full body, thick/creamy texture, soft carbonation. Missing some real salted caramel here but it's a well-made, tasty Imperial Stout.
