It has a harmonious taste of coffee and dark chocolate. Unlike most dark beers, it is not sweet. It has a balanced bitterness and a delicate malty taste. It is made from barley malt, special caramel and coloured malts, and two types of hops. It’s one of the most awarded beers in the world in our portfolio.

Bottle at home. Faek egszerusegu sotet lager, kicsit csokis, kaves, nemileg foldes porkoltmalatas. Konnyed, mar-mar vizes. Banto hibaja legalabb nincs.

Optisch klar und sehr dunkelbraun mit rubinroten Reflexen. Die hellbraune, fast cremige Schaumkrone zeigt sich dabei überaus stabil und langlebig. Die Duftaromatik hält sich etwas zurück. Leicht schokoladige Röstmalznoten machen sich bemerkbar. Der Antrunk kommt feinrezent, süßlich-herb schokoladig und leicht rauchig. Am Gaumen zeigt sich die volle Malzigkeit mit einer sehr zarten Süße, einer guten Röstmalzherbe, schönen Schokonoten und einem leicht rauchigen Anklang. Dem weichen, feinrezenten, mäßig vollem und gut trockenem Mundgefühl steht eine unglaublich hohe Drinkability gegebüber. Von vorne bis hinten wunderbar auskomponiert und absolut stilecht mit einer guten, kräftigen Aromatik. Im Nachtrunk wirken die schokoladigen Röstmalznoten sehr gut und lange nach und mit der Zeit schleicht sich eine leicht trockene Herbe dazu.

330ml bottle pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts rich grain some pitfruit and something odd. Taste is more of the roast malts some burnt toast and a little black liquorice.

Bottled. Dark brown colour with a beigeish brown head. Aroma is mild toasted notes with some chocolate, mild wood and some herbs. Flavour is quite similar to the elements of the aroma, but also has some slight bitterness to it.

330ml bottle. Dark brown colour with ruby shimmer and small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Toasty, slightly chocolately, minimally nutty, dark malty aroma, hints of chocolate, a touch of malt lozenge. Taste is slightly chocolately and toasty, minimally spicy, dark malty, minimally caramel malty, minimally nutty, hints of chocolate, a touch of caramel, dark caramel, malt lozenge, nougat. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Quite some subtleties, but merely in a light and weak mode, only in outlines - nice, not more.
