California, that is sun, energy, ideas, optimism, and that’s exactly what we were trying to put in our California. We hope you find all of it in there once you try it. Originally, it is based on the British Pale Ale, but the American version is zestier and foamier. We also added something Czech, so it is a US/CZ version.

0.75l bottle at the 2+KK Restaurant, thanks Filip! Man, I hate not having notes on this one with me (possibly ever again). All in all, it was better, in my opinion than Apollo Galaxy and Raptor. A superb, sublime fruity aroma hop note struck us immediately, remaining in the taste, balanced just right by enough herbal, fine hoppy bitterness. A superb, sublime APA. Hats off to Matuška.

750ml bottle shared with the wife on 2nd Oct 2014 in Beergeek, Prague. Light yellow colour with a slight haze to the pour, lasting white head. Aroma was mildly malty with floral hop notes, some grass too. Flavour was semi-sweet yet fairly dry in nature, fruity and hoppy towards the end of each sip. Soft body feel and an easy drinking brew that I really enjoyed.

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, pilsener malts, fresh, light floral hops, light sweat. Crisp malty flavour. Quite bitter, hops, floral, light citrus. Finish malts, hops, straw. Nice!

Bottle. Pours clear lught golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of grass and touches of citrus. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of grass. Lingering, bitter, slughtly citric aftertaste. Good.

On tap at Zly Časy, Prague. Pours cloudy yellow with white head. Fruity hoppy aroma. Medium body and bitterness. Fruity and hoppy flavor.

Gravity at GBBF ’13, 15/08/13. Lightly hazed pale golden with a thin white head that reduces to a pond. Nose is citrus, light bready dough, toasted malt, orange, light fart. Taste comprises bitter orange, lemon, cereal, grass, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Decent enough APA but far from a great.
