Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Alexey. Very dark brown. Aroma of chocolate, nuts, some roast. Dry flavor, roasty, slightly sourish, slightly "green", with chocolate, nuts, a bit of coffee, and a bitterish finish, slightly astringent. Medium-bodied.

Another smash hit from the 7-11 on the corner, Roma, DF. Medium brown. Not much head. Slightly sweet, molasses aroma but with a bit of bitter chocolate. Palate is rich, with a bit of tar and Okinawan black sugar. Good body. Soft finish.
Una otra obra maestra de 7-11 en mi esquina. La color es marron media. El aroma es de piloncillo y un poco de chocolate amargo. El sabor es rico, con un poco de brea y azucar negro de Okinawa. Fuerte cuerpo, pero dulce final.

0.355l bottle. Black body, foamy light brown head. Very fruity aroma (dark fruits) with notes of chocolate, cherries and vanilla. Taste reflects the aroma. Chocolate, dark fruits, cherries and vanilla again. Somewhat weak in the body but it’s nice.

355ml Bottle drank inside the Cruise Ship Terminal area of Puerto Vallarta on 23rd March 2014. Impressed, smooth Stout in looks, aroma and taste. Over roasted/toasted malts rule the roost, with hints of dark chocolate and coffee within both the nose and flavour. A pleasant surprise to finish the day off before rejoining the ship (the Minerva ITA was also a lovely surprise).

Bottle Pours dark brown . No foam at all , no matter how hard you try . Smell is heavy , thick , and dark . Bitter, dark chocolate . Taste is surprisingly weak . Bitter, some chocolate, some faded malts ( ’Black ’ malts ) . Very dissapointing after the scent ..
