16 ounce can. Hazy yellow gold color. Finger high frothy beside head. Fragrant tropical fruit nose has attributes of melon, tangerine and pineapple. First sip yields notes of orange, grapefruit, red berries, stone fruit and melon. Boozy middle with a hint of black pepper. Dank resiny pine in finish. Well done.

Can from Air Force Hops (thanks, Chris!) poured into taster glass as part of blind taste test. Appearance is hazy light yellow/light brown with greenish tinge, nice sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with fair retention and nice, leggy lacing. Aroma is fruit and herb. Lactose? Taste is fruit, mild herb and cream/milky. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and dry, finish with lingering pleasant bitterness. Overall, hits pretty strongly on all cylinders.

This brew is a cloudy orange color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, grassy hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, grassy hop, melon and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Nose has melon rind, yeast, subtle grass. Flavor has the citrus up front, melon in the center with a mild grassy bitterness. Light fruit juice character. Decent balance with a sharper grassy bite. If you didn’t like this, you got a bad can. This is quite good!

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zesty, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an incredible NEIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish, amazingly soft feel. Feels like Galaxy, El Dorada, Citra. Extremely juicy, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazingly spot on style example.

Can from J's. Pours a hazy straw gold with a full 2 fingers of foam that lingers. Pineapple, mango, durian and honeydew melon aromas dominate the nose. As it warms some dankness comes out. Soft and pillowy mouthfeel, medium to lowish carbonation. More pineapple, pine and pithy citrus on the palate with some mango and melon that comes in on the finish.

Can at Churchkey: pours hazy opaque murk with white head. Aroma is citrus bomb. Taste is dry, loghtly bitter orange juice, with that nice little NEDIPA finish.

16oz can pours a very murky orange with some sudsy, white head. Nose is punchy at first with onion and grass and catty armpit, there's citrus there too - grapefruit mostly, then melon and some under ripe tropical fruit. Flavor has malt and honey and more ripe tropical fruit at the front, but then there's plenty of citrus and plenty more green and catty notes. Finishes bitter, mostly full bodied but very drinkable. 9 4 8 5 16
