Bottle. Golden color with a nice head. Aroma was very light lemon and taste is a refreshing lemon.

355ml bottle from Mitsuya’s Liquor in Asagaya, Tokyo. Poured into an English tulip pint. Clear straw golden color with a nice soapy white head that hangs around for a fair amount of time. After about 30 minutes it looks like a pale lager or pilsner in the glass. Banana, pineapple and citrus aroma. As it warms up a slight bubblegum aroma comes out. Almost no malt notes are noticeable. Strong wheat presence on the palate with lemon standing out particularly strongly. A slight sourness becomes noticeable on the palate after coming to room temperature. Soda-pop like carbonation with a medium dry finish.

The appearance was a clear yellow color with no head (bar pour, so I’m not taken aback). There was some light stringy lacing following the beer as it goes down.
The smell didn’t really have much at all. If there was anything, there were some light floral notes.
The taste once again didn’t have much to it. It was basically just beer and it didn’t have any aftertaste nor finish.
On the palate, it sat exceptionally light and showed a very good sessionability about it.
Overall, well, I say this was just an average American Blonde Ale. I’m not sure why its labeled a Belgian Ale as it wasn’t even served in proper glassware for a Belgian Ale. Anyways, well, I honestly don’t think I’d have it again despite proper glassware or not.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a dark gold with a half finger white head. Aroma of biscuit, lemon and a hint of caramel. Taste is light bitter. Follows aroma. Full bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Pretty good.

Blond color, with compact head. Mild aroma: some Belgium here, light spices, light fruits, but also a bit of stale waters. Off-dry mouthfeel with high carbonation; pale malt flavor, with a hay accent and light late sugars; some spices, very light fruits; correct bitterness.
A pleasant and refreshing beer, with a rather true Belgian character.

Bottle. It pours a deep clear gold with a thick fluffy head. Lots of nutty earthy yeast notes. Medium bodied, it has a very earthy taste, barnyard, spice, leather. Not so bad.

12 oz bottle bought at Super 1 in Hayden, ID. Aroma is bready, grassy, lemony. Pours nearly clear golden with a medium white lacy head with decent retention. Taste is sweet and biscuity before finishing bitter. Boozy with a wet dog offnote. Creamy mouthfeel. Not bad for an old-school American golden/blonde, but boring for the new hop-forward examples coming out of other forward-thinking breweries lately. Doesn’t taste Belgian one bit.
