Draft at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of toffee, fudge, roasted malts, caramel, chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Pitch black with a dense, tan head. Roasted aroma with coffee, chocolate, caramel and a slight hint of the lactose. Taste is sweet. Medium body, very creamy texture - lactose really shows here. Finishes sweet with a roasted note. Only a discrete bitterness. Very nice sweet stout.

On tap @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours black, with a big creamy head. Aroma is burned malt, and sweet molasses and sugar. Light body with normal texture and soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet with kandi, burned malts, leather, tobacco and some dark fruits.

Fra fat på Cardinal: god stoutaroma, men smaken er heller vammel. Vannaktig munnfølelse. Aroma innfrir, smak skuffer.

Lovely aroma of roasted barley, burnt caramel, toffee and fried bananas. Taste of roasted barley and buent caramel. Milkish aftertaste with some sourness and roasted barley. Promising aroma, but dissapointing aftertaste. Too waterish mourhfeel.

On tap at Gaasa. Black with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, some dark fruits and hint of hops. Sweet, fruity and malty with a hint of bitterness in the finish. Well balanced. Nice stout.

50cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Pitch black color, small to medium sized light brown head. Smell malts, dark malts, lightly roasty. Taste malts, dark malts, moderately roasty, nice bitter finish. Medium body, medium carbo.

Bottle thx to benzai. Pitch black, opaque colour with a full light-brown head. Smells roasty, coffee and chocolate. Tastes coffee, roasty, bitter, chocolate and some oatmeal. Great beer. Full body, great carbo.

Väldigt angenäm. Smak och doft av kaffe, bränt socker, mjölkchoklad med toner av laktris. Lägger sig gott i munnen.

Dark, almost opaque brown color, average brown head. Aroma is sweetish cocoa, coffee and licorice. Medium bodied, suprisingly watery palate for this ABV. Flavaor has cocoa, some soya sauceness, toasted malts, licorice pipe. A bit burnt. Quickly vanishing aftertaste.
