The beer. The 'Bot. The legend. This sought-after Double IPA packs in a whole mess of hops in order to churn out a bombastic citrus taste full of orange peel, mildly dank whiffs of pine, and a deceptively easy-flowing flavor. There's just enough haze in this one to satisfy the "Hops Heads" while it's not to bitter/crazy for first-timers to enjoy this fruity brew.
Hops - Columbus, Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic.

Distinctly delicious brew with the bitterness right up front. I'd take this over PTE any day. Cheers to Stephen!!

Thanks to Bill for bringing this one over from the States for me. Poured from a 12oz can into a tulip to an almost clear gold colour with a frothy white head that soon thinned. Lots of floral and citrus hops on the nose allied to pine and a little grass. Similar flavours on the palate more piney than the others and quite a bitter finish but a little sweet malts take the edge off this aspect and makes for a well balanced beer! Medium bodied with moderate carbonation - spot on in fact! A really tasty DIPA and would I would happily drink again!

16oz can split with the Madison crew while waiting for tickets to the GTMW. Hazy, strawlike yellow-gold. Thin white head. Nice grapefruit aroma, very fresh. Very clean as well, hop forward. Drinkable, pleasant. Well done!

Drank a few ounces of this from courtesy of one of my buddies. Poured a medium-golden color with a white head. Aroma was a touch of grapefruit and pine, which translates pretty well in the flavor as well - a pretty good hop-heavy brew.

12 oz. can, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks Dany), split with Matts_Property, pours a hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma of rich piney and resinous hops, some floral notes and a nice balance of rich caramel malts. Flavour of rich piney and resinous hops, buttery hops, rich caramel malts, finishing buttery and bitter. Very solid IIPA.

Can. A hazy golden beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of hops, peaches, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, hops, peaches, and malt, leading to a very bitter finish.

Can 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Cletus. Pours a clear golden with a white head leaving a discreet lacework. Very fresh citrusy hoppiness in the nose. Medium body, solid residual fruity sweetness. Great piney grapefruitish hops. Dry as a bone hop finish. 270411

On tap. Poured a clear gold with a slight amber hue and white head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma had a nice pine note with some resin and grapefruit and the slightest hint of a hay backbone. Flavor started with grapefruit but quickly became full of pine with a bit of resin coming out in the finish.
