12 oz bottle. Pours black with a light tan head. Sweet milk chocolate mint aroma, bourbon and vanilla. Super silky chocolate vanilla bourbon mint flavor. The mint doesn't stand out so much as mix really well into the chocolatey flavors. This is just a great mix.

Sampled on tap at the Brick Store Pub. Pours black, with a big, foamy, tan head. The aroma is chocolate milkshake, spearmint, light coffee, and malt balls. Sweet and syrupy. Very heavy body, with a thick, syrupy mouthfeel. This is a decadent, candy-like stout. Like a couple Andes candies in a chocolate malt.

12 oz bottle. Pours a very dark brown with light tan head. Aromas of chocolate mints on a roasted malt base. Flavors of syrupy chocolate, mint, sweet coffee, light bourbon and rich roasted malts. A desert beer!

Bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a pitch black with a small beige head that dissipates. Big dark chocolate, crushed cookies, vanilla, Oreos and faint mint aromas. Smooth on the palate, sweet with Oreo cream and a little mint. Sweet, but not cloying. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dragon’s Milk Reserve: Mocha Mint on 18 Nov 2017 at 21:33 - Score: 8. 12 ounce bottle into snifter, bottled on 9/27/2017. Pours nearly opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty coffee, peppermint, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coconut, smoke, molasses, dark fruit, and roast/toast/oaky earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, cocoa, mint, coffee, and bourbon barrel notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty coffee, peppermint, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coconut, smoke, molasses, dark fruit, and roast/toast/oaky earthiness. Light roast/char bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness, and cooling mint character on the finish. Lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty coffee, peppermint, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, dark/brown bread, coconut, light molasses/smoke, and roast/toast/oaky earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, cocoa, mint, coffee, and bourbon barrel flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet and bourbon/oak spiciness balance; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly drying from roast bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky, and lightly sticky/chalky/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden; a mildly increasing warmth, with zero barrel booziness lingering after the finish. Overall this is an awesome barrel aged coffee/spiced imperial stout! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, cocoa, mint, coffee, and bourbon barrel flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the big ABV. Was hoping for more intense coffee/mint character, but this was still delicious. Similar to regular dragons milk with nice added cocoa nib presence; and pleasant nutty coffee and earthy/cooling mint flavors. A really enjoyable offering.
