Tropical aromas of passion fruit, orange, and guava dominate the nose while a big juicy hop flavor and smooth bitterness complement the balance of the beer.

Can from vintage. Looks like a pale ale with a decent head, 3 Smells a little fruity, perhaps like mild fruit orange perfume. Taste is rather rude and medicinal up front. Lots of astringent bitter bite on this one, not sure if its hops an'that but its there fer sher. Perhaps the bitterness is like chewing on a very unripe green citrus rind, whew. Quite in yer face in the middle. End with a whallop up the palate with a straight up arse. Not impressed. In the end, at least its got decent carbonation.

Draft pour at Church Hall in DC. Poured a clear orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was tropical fruits, nice light floral character. Tropical fruit citrus, with some sweet malt notes.

Can. A- Orange, guava, passion fruit, juicy, tropical citrus. A- Golden orange color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Orange, guava, passion fruit, juicy, mild bitterness, slightly floral. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, juicy finish. O- I love me some POG juice so I figured this might hit the spot. Holy cow did it ever. Really juicy and lots of tropical citrus. Orange, guava, passion in that order. Pains me to see this listed as a fruit beer. Definitely still has that IPA vibe going on to balance out the fruit. Really good though.

On tap at Terrapin, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart, overripe tropical fruits, with subdued citrus hops. Flavour is strange, with overripe tropical fruits, oranges, and citrus hops. I'm not sure I'm convinced by this. Okay.

Can at home grabbing scraps from Publix. Light cloudy gold. Nose is tropical fruits. Tastes of guava and pineapple pale malts some florals. Not too sweet or artificial. Not bad not really my thing though, despite being a huge Hawaii fan.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 10/3/2018. Pours fairly crystal clear golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, toasted bread, light caramel/honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruits, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, toasted bread, light caramel/honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness; and slight fruit tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, toasted bread, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruits, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an awesome fruited IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruits, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; Very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; with the moderately bitter/drying finish, never overly aggressive. Very vibrant, dank, and juicy hop/fruit complexity; nice solid malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. They used Columbus, Cascade, Centennial, Simcoe, Citra, Galaxy, and Amarillo hops; they work perfectly with the tropical fruit. A really enjoyable and well made offering.

Nice hop aroma with a good frothy head. Smells of citrus. Flavor of a citrus hoppy IPA with an underlying sweet tropical fruit flavor. Light hoppy aftertaste.

12 ounce can. Hazy, honey gold color. Small bubbly beige head. Big tropical fruit nose delivers as advertised. Passionffruit, orange and guava are all there. Bittersweet fruit upfront. Tangy, peppery maltiness. Hints of orange peel and citrus hops. Finish is dry with notes of black pepper.
