Tap @ Beer Temple, 5 oz taster. Mostly clear, red-brown color. Head is light beige, not much, frothy. Aroma’s: roasted malts, red fruit, hints of chocolate. Retronasal it’s roasted, sweet, mocha-ish. Flavor is moderate sweet, roasted. Body is medium, much fuller than you’d expect from a 4.5% beer. Finishes with roast, rather dry and bitter. Usually not a big fan of brown ales, but this was pretty good.

Taste malts, dark malts, caramel, lightly brown sugar, nicely bitter and a touch of hops. Medium body and carbonation. One of the best brown ales I’ve ever had I think.
