Awaken the rebel inside you! Take this hoppy blonde out for an exciting date on the rooftop of the police office. Get cosy by your neighbour’s pool while he’s on vacation and enjoy the flowery and fruity scent. Let the soft bitterness take you by surprise, while your colleagues sip from their boring glasses of champagne at the office party.

24/07/2016 - 33cl bottle from Prik & Tik Edelare. Cloudy orange with solid creamy white head. Nose is malts, grains, some hops. Taste is light fruity, light bitter, hints of sweetness. Not bad at all but not my favorite from these guys.

Bottle from De Geus van Gent, Gent, Belgie, Thursday 30th June 2016, Gold in colour with a nice white head. Soft in the mouth, it’s got a stringy bitterness, the spiciness of the yeast putting paid to any refreshing characteristics that I was hoping for. Good beer but not great. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Trevlig.

Hazy golden pour with a white head. Smells like Belgian yeast, herbal hops, flowers and a bit of honey. The taste is mostly bitter, with a bit of a honey sweetness and notes of generic bitter hops.

Na de Kompaan bij Maakun. Blonde met saisongist. Geen IPA ervaring, eerder een tripel! Wel lekker kruidig en gistig. Backlog from 2015/09/17.

Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and crispy. A little honey in the malts. Light spice. Light floral yeast. Ripe citrus and dried fruits. Light semi dry finish. Very Belgian.

Bottle shared. Pours cloudy dull blond with a big short lived white head. Aroma of cardboard, peppery notes, spicy yeast and light fruit. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation. Not really an IPA, more like a not great saison.
